Get involved! Ths Foundation for Sustainable Community is only as sustainable as our community is active! Volunteer! Help Spread The Good Work! We have opportunities for the community to volunteer in the areas of marketing, fundraising, accounting, legal advice, graphic artists, data entry, event coordination, Peace Village Counselors and happy friendly folks to go out there and spread the work in the community. If you have been enjoying our events and want to see them continue, please get involved by volunteering.
Edible Garden Bike Tour and Community Picnic Whether you open your garden for others to visit and learn from, or you get on a bike and join in the tour, show support for the local food movement. We are looking for more people to participate in the tour. We will end the day with a community picnic at Hill Park. The music won't begin until we get there!
Local Currency Fourth Corner Exchange organizes an alternative money system that is currently used by over five hundred members throughout the Pacific Northwest. Attend an introduce community currencies, including what they are, how they work and why we need them. Specifically, you’ll learn about Fourth Corner Exchange Time Dollars and how to use them.
